We Love KOOKIES Maui Playful Couture

One of the absolutely best up-cycled businesses ever. KOOKIE Maui uses old t-shirts and repurposes them into the most comfortable and cool designed clothing. Farmers Voice Hawai‘i chooses KOOKIES Maui as one of our 2021 Best Picks! This playful couture business was started in the 80’s and has since grown to include the next generation helping with the family business. Maui looks forward to seeing this business grow and continue to be a model example of how to repurpose, reuse and yes up-cycle. Congratulations for a job well done KOOKIE Maui!

Feel the Love. Love the Feel.

The new generation of COOKIES was born out of a simple desire to make great stuff out of existing stuff.  Think recycling.  I like to call it “up-cycling”.  All of our designs are now made from T-shirts sourced right here in the Hawaiian Islands, minimizing our carbon footprint.

We support local charities by buying our t-shirts from their fundraisers. Please contact us if your organization would be interested in a fundraising opportunity.

Here we are in 2020, rebranded as KOOKIES Maui to express our playfulness and the fact that we don’t actually sell cookies. All of our products are still designed and sewn with care in our Maui North Shore studio with a recent upgrade… we are totally solar powered. Another exciting addition is our new adult line.

You’ll feel good in, and feel good about, KOOKIES Maui.

“I went looking for COOKIES Maui and instead, found KOOKIES Maui.  Is your website riddled with typos?”
No. We changed our name!  We like KOOKIES Maui because it is so playful, like our designs.  And frankly, we donʻt sell cookies.  Never did.  Probably never will.  Our founderʻs maiden name is Cook and COOKIES was cute while it lasted.
