Some people might not believe they have power. It may sound like a lofty thing to say. Funny how when kids play super heros, you can often hear “I have the Power!”, “Give me some Power!” or the defeated, “They stole my Power?!” Truth be told, we all have mana or power and truth be told, no one can steal your power, but boy, it can feel like it to some.
Confirming that we all possess power, keeping the remembrance of such strength is not always easy. Some of us feel our power at a constant while others are sometimes lured by despair and slip into powerless states. For those who may have a well of understandable and measurable power to pull from, how much could you, would you, do you share?
The impoverished and ailing do not surface easily. Those on shaky ground don’t always ask for help for a number of reasons. Pride, guilt, poverty restricted and plain old, they don’t think anyone cares.
There is a meet-in-the-middle ground that is strengthened by willingness and thoughtfulness. Those in need, those who feel powerless, silently demand others to fill buckets of love and share their mana.
The things that can shape positive change exist in the smallest of particles. We are fortunate on Maui to have a mighty force that sets a fantastic example. A growing organization that rallies those who have measured their well of mana and proudly share.
When you’ve considered your personal power, your family power and maybe your business power, reach out and meet your island needs in the middle and contributing to and volunteering with ShareYourMana.org.
